LDS Quality Check Process

This is the process of checking lead quality from our Lead Sales Hub and Leadspedia systems.

Export Leads

Leadspedia Login Leads Sold Leads Menu Item

  • login to Leadspedia
    • goto "Leads -> Sold Leads"
    • export purchased leads and save the file to your Downloads directory

Check Lead Data in Blacklist Alliance

Blacklist Alliance Login Access Litigation Firewall Scrub File

  • login to blacklist alliance https://www.blacklistalliance.com
    • click on "Access Litigation Firewall."
    • click on "Scrub File."
    • check all the additional output options for
      • Carrier Data
      • Invalid
      • No Carrier
      • Wireless
      • Landlines
    • click the select file button and find the CSV file in your Downloads directory
    • once the file is uploaded, it will display a new box for selecting the phone number column change that from Lead ID to the name of the column that has the current phone number in it. Most likely, "Phone Home."
    • click upload, and the system will check and then force download a file named something like done-Leads_1667246343.csv.zip
    • open the blacklist alliance zip file, and there should be several files in the new blacklist alliance zip file directory it created.

Convert CSV to Excel

  • open CSV file in excel and save it as xlsx file named "Buyer name" + check.xlsx
  • open the xlsx file
    • insert four columns next to the populated phone number column and name them Blacklist, Result, Name Correct, and Signed Up
    • In the new blacklist alliance zip file directory, if there is a file named "invalid.csv," open it up and match the records with the input file and mark those numbers as invalid in the column named Blacklist
    • In the new blacklist alliance zip file directory,if there is a file name "litigators.csv" open it up and match the records with the input file and mark those numbers as litigators in the column named Blacklist
    • In the new blacklist alliance zip file directory,if there is a file named "no_carrier.csv" then go through the file and mark those numbers by putting no carrier in the column named Blacklist

Call Each Lead

  • Call each phone number, including the ones that have "invalid" and "no carrier" in the Blacklist column
    • In the result column, record the type of line response
      • VM if it's a voicemail and listen to the entire message to see if the name is mentioned. If it is, then check if it matches and then answer Y or N in the Name Correct column
      • Disconnected it's an error message like, "This number has been disconnected."
      • Fax if it's a fax machine answering
      • If it's a valid number but something else, then describe it as best as you can and move to the next number
    • If you connect with a person, ask, "Is this "First Name, Last Name"?
      • Record the answer in Name Correct with a Y or N
    • If this is the right person, introduce yourself as "I'm `your name` from Consumer Coalition, and I'm doing a Quality Assurance check to make sure you signed up and wanted to be contacted."
      • Record the answer as Y or N

Pivot the Data

Insert PivotTable Fields Pivot

  • Once complete, create a pivot table of the lead sheet
    • select all the data
    • click insert -> pivot table
    • drag the "Lead ID" column to the values area
    • drag the "Result" column to the rows area, which will be the top field
    • drag the "Name Correct" column to the rows area under the column "Result"
    • drag the "Signed Up" column to the rows area under the column "Name Correct"
    • the resulting table should look like this

Return Completed Spreadsheet

  • Once this is complete, attach the file to the you track ticket and mark the status as "to verify" and assign it for QA
